Brian DesLauriers

Brian DesLauriers uses his knowledge of data processing software to provide operational awareness to an agency’s executives. He enjoys collaborating with other data professionals extracting data figures, creating reports based on the findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine the success of an agency’s initiatives.  What makes Brian unique is how he pairs a career in public safety whilst having advanced knowledge in records management systems, GIS, and data management. 

Brian is a third-generation public servant. While serving in operations for nearly 20 years, studying and becoming highly proficient in emergency service technology progressed from an interest and hobby to a passion. Brian quickly discovered most emergency service agencies are not fully utilizing or fully understanding the software and technology already available to them. 

Brian attended the University of Iowa’s paramedic program and Hennepin Technical College for Fire Science Technology.
